Steuart Padwick

Under the products section you can see some examples of my work in materials ranging from wax and cardboard to ceramics, steel and wood.

I enjoy a challenge, be it a new product, developing a product range, or developing the retail strategy.

Whilst I do not have a specific style I do aspire to many of the ideals set down by the designers Jasper Morrison and Naoto Fukasawa in their book Super Normal.

I have worked in most areas of design, manufacture and development.
Beginning as a designer maker, then went on to develop products for mass production, and in the late 90s as a buyer for The Conran Shop sourced products from USA and Europe to India, China and Australia.

Over the years I have launched a number of successful companies and most recently managed the launch of Benchmark Furniture for Sir Terence Conran and Sean Sutcliffe.

My aim is to design products and furniture that can be used in our daily lives, where the pleasure is gained both from the appearance and use of the object.

I look forward to working with you to help realise your vision.

Best wishes
